Have you decided what kind of cool weather vegies you would like to grow this fall
and winter?
Some of these could be broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts (great
roasted in the oven w/ olive oil and Cavenders seasoning,) beets, lettuce spinach,
radishes, carrots collard greens, kale.
Fall and winter gardening is a more relaxed gardening, less watering, I think I
watered about once a month in the winter months and there's no bugs to worry
about!
When the cold weather comes, you cover the garden with plastic and use blocks to
hold it down.
On days when the temp is 30 degrees and sunny you open the ends of the garden
bed up!
It's pretty thrilling to have your own home grown vegies especially in the fall/winter
seasons!
