"Four times the produce with only ten percent of the work"
of the normal gardening way was what got my attention in
the article by Len Pense, creator of Gardening
Revolutions.
Not to mention it being weed free and mud free! I also
liked the idea of my own quality control of my veggies, so
after taking a class in the fall of 2007 ,gardening over the
winter,and being thrilled over the produce that made it
through the winter months, thus enabling us to eat
produce from the garden earlier than usual in the Spring ,
and then hearing from Len how the business had
exploded and the need for distributors, I decided I'd like to
help people to "get growing" and I became a distributor in
April of 2008.
I'm learning a lot, I now have eleven beds and am
learning new recipes, food preservation techniques, i.e
freezing, dehydrating, and pickling along with pest
control, depth and space planting, crop rotation, planning
garden plants , where and when ,etc... Its been
challenging and thrilling! I'm looking forward to the day
when the family garden has its rightful position in" the
front yard" even in the high of end properties (providing of
course it has at least 6 hours of sunlight)!
